Our Projects

We give grants to current educators and scholarships to future educators in the Arlington ISD. We also put books into the hands of children.

Scholarships

We provide two scholarships to AISD graduating seniors going in to the teaching profession. Applications are submitted through the high school counseling offices. The recipients are selected by the Scholarship Committee. Recipients are announced at the May luncheon.

Grants

We provide eight $200 grants to educators, counselors, nurses, librarians, clubs, or school programs in the AISD school district. Applications are submitted and reviewed by the ARSEA officers in the fall.

Children's Book Project

We participate in the state's Children's Book Project by putting books into the hands of children for them to keep and take home. We accept monetary and new or gently used book donations at any ARSEA meeting. The books are distributed at the AISD Back to School event in August and by direct distribution to classrooms in the AISD.

Community Service
